Best Man
Chad and Robert have been best friends as long as either of them can remember. They were inseparable all through elementary school, and they’ve remained close ever since. Chad has always been someone Rob can count on and confide in, and their different paths have provided them both with a good perspective and balance. Rob admires Chad for always taking on big projects and challenges himself, and staying dedicated through to the end.
Dana
Maid of Honor
Dana is Halie's former college room mate and best friend and has always been there to offer amazing support and advice. They have made a multitude of happy memories together throughout the years, many of which involve music, nights at the Jersey Shore and of course dreams of being a mermaid. They have enjoyed growing, adulting and wedding planning together, and Halie is honored to have Dana as the MOH!
Rob G
Groomsman
RG lived down the street from Rob when he moved to Lewisburg, and was the first person he met in town. Their interests grew from skateboarding and video games to short films and music, and they've stayed close and even collaborated on a couple projects from opposite coasts. RG has always been a warm and supportive friend, and Rob has always admired his resilience and humility.
Kelly
Bridesmaid
Kelly is Halie’s friend, confidant, cousin and Harry Potter comrade. As the only two females in an entire generation of Holmes’s, Halie and Kelly always shared a bond that has spanned visits to Kelly’s dorm room and then to Halie and Rob’s housewarming in New York City. Halie has always looked up to Kelly and tried to emulate her successes in life. Halie and Kelly have not missed seeing a Harry Potter movie in theater together in all of time.
Duncan
Groomsman
Duncan is Rob’s former college roommate, classmate, radio co-host, and is generally the one getting the party started. Duncan and Rob together usually meant either lots of noise in the form of music, laughter, or general hollering, or silence as they fell asleep in the same classes. His sense of humor has always been a good match with Rob's, and he's always kept Rob on his toes. Duncan is always bluntly honest about Rob's musical endeavors, while offering a good push in the right direction.
Katie
Bridesmaid
Katie and Halie met in 2015 when Halie was working in Maryland during a gap year between college and graduate school. The office-mates became fast friends when they realize they shared a love for music, dancing and summers at the beach. The two were clearly inseparable, and Katie moved to New York City to enter the genetic counseling program at Sarah Lawrence College just a year after Halie. They grew together as friends and peers, and continued their friendship from a distance as Katie spent 2019 in Arizona. Katie is back on the east coast just in time for the wedding.
Kevin
Groomsman
Kevin and Rob became close friends while on the same late night shift at MSNBC, and became an unstoppable force as a tech director/audio engineer team. Rob also lived down the street from Kevin for a while in Queens, so they shared plenty of drinks and late-night food truck stops. Kevin has always pushed Rob to be the best he can be, whether it's a critical project at work, a fun technical challenge they made up in their downtime, or with passion projects. His generosity and compassion are constantly inspiring.
Tamar
Bridesmaid
Tamar is Halie’s friend from grad school, designated wedding hashtag creator and namer of Halie’s car, Racer. The two became friends while interviewing for grad school, and in grad school Tamar was literally Halie’s right-hand woman. They spent grad school sitting side-by-side in class, taking notes and online shopping for engagement rings waiting for Rob to propose. Tamar and Halie could be found on weekends exploring the museums, food and culture of New York City and driving around in Halie’s car Racer. These days, Tamar is back in her home town of Toronto.
Rob A
Groomsman
Rob May and Rob A initially bonded over music while at MSNBC, and Rob A ended up playing drums for Rob’s band. Over time they've shared countless hours conversing (and arguing) about music, language, and weird memes, and there are always plans for another jam. Rob A is always supportive and pushes Rob to stay authentic. If there's ever a challenge, whether it's at work or with either of their complicated audio projects and schemes, Rob never fails to find the best solution.
Samone
Bridesmaid
Samone is Halie’s friend from grad school, unofficial official bachelorette party planner and local go-to for genetic counseling advice and gossip. Samone has been a great support to Halie through the transition from grad school to working life, and a guide for wedding planning since she so recently went through the process. Samone and Halie can be found sipping wine in New York City, and shared a trip sipping wine together with their significant others in Napa Valley this past Fall.
Lorena
Groomswoman
Rob and Lorena also met at MSNBC, and they quickly found they shared a strange sense of humor and a passion for making fun of Rob A’s musical tastes. She also plays cello in Rob’s band, and is always supportive of his musical projects. Lorena has always been incredibly compassionate, honest, and understanding, and always keeps Rob grounded.
Sarah

Sarah is Halie’s friend from grad school, fellow adventurer and kindred soul. Sarah and Halie spent their days studying and nights dancing whenever they had the chance. Sarah has always been truly supportive of Halie, and Halie has always admired Sarah for her leadership, counseling skills and empathy.
