Nick and I went to Coopersville Middle School together where we met each other through Spanish class among others. We never took a peak in interest in each other until our 8th-grade year. While at a friend's birthday party, we both noticed how close we were getting to each other. Since that night we both knew that we were meant for each other. Through our 6-year relationship, Nick and Halia have broken up twice. Both times were due to not sitting down and talking about our problems, instead we just walked away from each other. We both knew that our love for each other never left even when time was apart. Getting back together was the best thing we have ever done. Sitting in the car after school and talking like adults brought us here to this moment. We both realized that if we wanted things to work out between us we had to be open to listening and enduring each other's feelings, and thoughts without getting upset with each other, and that's what we did. Throughout the years we both introduced each other into new hobbies, and our biggest one is our love for cars. They really know how to test our love for each other while working on them haha. Now 6 years later we are getting married and entering our 7 years together after Feb 2nd, 2026. People said being high school sweethearts was hard... we are technically middle school sweethearts and I wouldn't change anything that we did and are still doing for the world. We cannot wait to spend this special day with all the people that we love. We hope to see you there!
