The event will be in a garden around a victorian home. All events will be outside (ceremony/dinner on a grass lawn, dancing in a gazebo), and it is usually quite warm in August. The sun goes down around 8pm. We encourage Garden Party Attire- fun, floral, fascinators, suits with or without jackets and ties... whatever you are most comfortable in!
The ceremony and reception are both at the same place. Make your way to the venue between 3-4pm. There is plenty of parking at the venue, ubers are available, and public transportation (the Max) stops a few blocks away. We organized buses to get everyone back into town at the end of the event (They will stop at the Hampton Inn and the Northrop Inn)
