Vanessa is Sergio’s younger sister. Her stare is deadly and her fierce protection of her family is rivaled only by her strength and independence. Sergio and Vanessa were best friends growing up, and each other’s greatest competition, going head to head in sports. The bond of love between this brother and sister is unbreakable. She’s irreplaceable.

Ashley is Haley’s cousin, but they’re much more like sisters. She’s a literal super mom and the best friend a girl could ask for!

Erik Mendoza

Erik is Sergio’s cousin but is as close to a brother as Sergio could ask for. With birthdays a week apart, they even shared their first birthday party. From being the Michaelango to his Leonardo, and pretending to be ninja turtles fighting invisible enemies, to now nerding out over comic books together, they continue to have a brotherly bond.

Sister number one! Jesseca and Haley had the typical steal-each other’s-clothes and argue about anything sister relationship growing up. Now they’re very close, love each other very much and steal a lot less of each others clothes. Jesseca is also one of the smartest people on earth.

Jorge is one of Sergio’s closest and oldest friends. They met playing soccer at 15 and have been best friends ever since. From taking Jorge to the ER after getting knocked out to sleeping in a parking garage after not paying attention to it being closed overnight, they’ve shared some wild memories. Jorge is incredibly loyal and a welcome addition to our wedding party!

Sister number two! Sierra has a bright and bubbly energy that lights up every room. She can have a conversation with everyone and has magical powers with kids. Her kind heart is matched only by her love for Dolly Parton.

Francisco (Pancho) Sanchez

Groomsman

Pancho is one of Sergio’s oldest friends. Want to guess how they met? If you said soccer, you’d be correct. They played together in high school and became friends who went on to play at Cañada College as well. Pancho would drive Sergio home from practices and games and would eat dinner with Sergio’s family each time. Pancho is also the only person who can beat Sergio in ping pong in a rivalry for the ages.

The final sister! Autumn is the baby of the family and we all spoil her more than we should, but she’s deserving of every bit. She’s a high school senior this year, which is making Haley feel incredibly old.

Tavo is Sergio’s cousin and an essential member of the Fantastic Four, which also included Sergio, Vanessa, and Erik. Tavo has a strong and calming presence that is invaluable. He felt like a little brother to Sergio growing up and his lovable nature makes him the perfect companion as a groomsman.

Damia is one of the most loyal and generous people we know. She’s also one of the funniest. She has lived across the street from Haley’s family for 12 years but she’ll be around forever because she’s family now!

Kevin is Sergio's soon to be brother-in-law and we are so excited to have him be a part of our family! One of the kindest and most welcoming people you'll ever meet, Kevin's sense of humor is unmatched. Sergio looks forward to many more years of their Chivas vs. Americas rivalry.

Just an absolute bombshell, Alexis is not only one of the prettiest people on the planet, she’s also one of the kindest. She has a huge heart that makes her a great friend and overall great human being. Plus, she gets to work with some of the cutest animals ever, which is just a bonus!

Like many of the other groomsmen, Pepiz and Sergio met because of soccer. At first, they hated each other. Why? Because they had dated the same girl. And it wasn’t until they got to talk to one another about that girl and share war stories that they became friends. Since then, they’ve come a long way. They no longer date the same women (thank God), and they have a close and loving brotherhood Sergio is grateful for.

Hannah is one of the funniest and friendliest people you’ll ever meet. She’s always down for a good time and is the life of the party. Haley became friends with her when Hannah and Jordan played soccer together and she’s been stuck with us ever since. We love this beautiful soul and her family so much!
