Aubrey's Strawberry Plains
Mike and I are HUGE Aubrey's fans! My favorite menu items are: the Boston Scrod, Pizza Rockefeller, and their salads. Mike's are: the salmon, the patty melt and the mac and cheese! Great place to catch a game, hang out, and have a great time!
Calhoun's On The River
Mike and I lived across from Calhouns on the River in the apartments that we met at! Needless to say, we spent a lot of time here! They have a great patio to sit on by the water and the food is phenomenal. I am a big fan of the orange crush and mike loves their burnt ends!
Old Tennessee Distilling Co.
Mike and I love stopping in for free moonshine samples. If you've never had Tennessee moonshine, you are in for a treat! They make a great cocktail and Mike and I love facing off in a game of checkers while we are there. Stop in and tell them Mike and Haley sent you. They know us by name and would LOVE to give a tasting!
Schulz Bräu Brewing Company
Ever wanted to drink beer in a castle? Now's your chance! Shultz Brau is one of our favorite hang outs. We watch a lot of UT games there and the food is super good. They have a German/Viking theme and they make all beer in house. They also have wine and cocktails, so it makes for a great spot for everyone to hang out at!
Cracker Barrel Old Country Store
A great spot for some good southern country food! They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner all day everyday! The chicken and dumplings are a must. You will not leave there hungry!
Chivo Taqueria
Chivo is one of our favorite taco spots. Their tacos are more gourmet, but very tasty! Chivo is located in downtown Knoxville, so it is a great place to stop in and get a bite to eat while exploring the area!
Market Square
Market Square is located in Downtown Knoxville. There are tons of shops, restaurants, and bars to explore! We highly recommend this area if you are looking for a day/night out!
Dollywood
You can't come to East Tennessee without going to Dollywood! Haley has been to Dollywood more times than she can count, and now Mike has a season pass so that they can go any time! If you like good food, good music, and rides, you are in for a treat! This is a great day time activity!
Gatlinburg
Mike and I spend a lot of time in Gatlinburg! There are tons of shops, restaurants, and things to see and do. Plus, you are right in the heart of the Smokies! Amazing views and a great place to make memories!
Walnut Springs Winery
A great place to have a glass of wine and unwind. They also have great appetizers and charcuterie boards!
Barley's Taproom and Pizzeria
This is a great place to grab a pizza, play pool, and have a beer. They usually have live music on the weekends as well. It is located in the Old City in downtown Knoxville, so you would be near a lot of other fun places!
