Cocktail is the middle ground between casual and black tie. For women that is dress lengths between short and tea length, or slacks/skirt and a blouse. For men it’s a sport/suit coat (optional but recommended for the time of year), slacks, button down shirt, and a tie (this does not mean a tux or full suit).
We are not bothered by people wearing the same color as the wedding party. But for those want to avoid the colors, the bridal party will be in light purple, and the maid of honor will be in plum. The groom's party will be in charcoal grey, and that includes the groomswomen.
Guests should plan on arriving at 3:30pm and being sat by 4:00
