How We Met
Becoming Aviators and Falling in Love
Mark and Haley met in flight school at Fort Novosel, AL in 2018. Haley had just graduated from West Point and Mark was coming home from studying abroad in China for a year after graduating West Point in 2017. Haley's first impression of Mark was that his glasses were wildly out of Army regulations, but he was ridiculously handsome nonetheless. Mark's first impression of Haley was that she was headstrong, smart, and argued with EVERYONE in class. Mark asked Haley to dinner one night after class and they started dating soon thereafter. Flight school became a whirlwind of learning to fly and falling in love for Haley and Mark!
