Things To Do
Some of our favorite places to visit in the Riviera Maya:
- Xcaret Park, which has many animals; turtles, dolphins, sharks, monkeys, jaguars, butterflies, manatees, stingrays and a lot of birds. You can swim with dolphins or sharks, go parasailing, swim through underground rivers, snorkel, or swim in natural pools along the ocean while enjoying a delicious adult beverage!
- Xplor Park, has two different circuits of zip lines with a total of 14 zip lines, hammock zip lines, underground rivers and caves to explore by foot, raft or swimming, you can even drive an amphibious vehicle through the jungle!
- El Oasis Seafood, downtown Playa Del Carmen was our favorite food by far! And is right next to the Coco Bongo nightclub.
There are many more parks in the area as well as tours. Surrounded by many ancient ruins one of them, Chichen Itza is one of the 7 Wonders of the World or head more south to Tulum and explore ruins there. So many actives to do while on this wedding vacation!
