St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge
Just 15 minutes from our venue is the gorgeous St Mark's National Wildlife Refuge and Lighthouse as seen in our engagement photos. A favorite location for the bride and groom - catch a sunset over the coast at the historic lighthouse!
Riverside Cafe
Ben and Haley's favorite Florida dive! Positioned on the St. Mark's River is this open-air bar/restaurant that often features live music in the evenings. We recommend their famous blackened grouper sandwich with a cold beer and their cajun crab dip!
Kayak Rentals on Wakulla River
For more adventurous friends, we recommend renting some kayaks or paddleboards from TnT Hideaway for a fun afternoon of exploring the Wakulla River! Again, a great way to enjoy native Florida wild life and spot alligators, birds, fish, and hopefully some manatees!
St. George Island State Park
Less than a 2 hour drive west from our venue is the beautiful St George Island. The perfect "Florida beach" experience without the tourists or drunk college students.
Apalachicola Historic Town
A quaint seaside oyster-fishing town about an hour and a half from our wedding venue and nearby St George Island. Great for shopping and dining after a day at the beach at St George Island.
Railroad Square Art District
Check out Railroad Square in downtown Tallahassee for fun vintage shops, art studios, and a brewery! May 6 is the first Friday of the month, which means there will be special activities going on at Railroad Square!
