Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

April 15, 2022 If we do not receive your RSVP by April 15, know we are not expecting you. If you come without RSVPing, please bring your own chair, food, and tent...Just kidding - or are we? Don't make us guess. Please RSVP on time for your whole party, no matter your answer.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have a block of hotels at The Lodge at Wakulla Springs, our venue for the ceremony and reception. We have a second block of rooms in Tallahassee at the Holiday Inn Tallahassee E Capitol - Univ location. Visit the Travel tab for more information.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation denotes a plus one, then yes please do! We wish we could accommodate everyone, however, our sad grad school budget doesn't agree. Please do not bring extra guests if your invitation does not specify.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

If your invitation also includes your children, then they are absolutely welcome to attend, but we will defer to you as to whether you want them to join or not. We love your children and want to see them, but we also want you to enjoy our wedding festivities and feel relaxed and present. However you envision that for yourself is how you should proceed.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let us know - we can try our best to accommodate everyone.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

There is no formal dress code, however, we recommend for your comfort: lightweight, light colors, casual-dressy. Plan to dress in or bring layers just in case! The ceremony will be short, but will be outside in Florida sun and heat, and the reception will mostly be inside in Florida air-conditioning.

Question

Should I bring cash?

Answer

We will host the bar for beer and wine for part of the night, but all liquor will be cash. Later in the evening the bar will become a cash bar. They do not take cards but there is an ATM onsite.

Question

Who should I contact with more questions?

Answer

Hopefully these FAQs cover most things, but otherwise please contact Ben or Haley for further answers. However, please try not to contact the bride or groom on their wedding day unless absolutely necessary.
