It all started at a small high school in a small town... The first time Haleigh saw Rob, it actually wasn't love at first sight. The first time she ever noticed him was the day he left his locker door open right above her head. (His locker was above hers.) When she stood up, she almost got knocked out. So, unfortunately in that moment, she probably wanted to kill him more than marry him :) Rob took pretty quick notice of the new girl. Mostly because, well, she was new, and then because she always seemed to be around. Both of their last names started with the letter “P”, so they were seated next to each other in all of their classes. It was also super fun for him to steal the pens off of her desk every. single. morning. They finally figured out they liked each other on prom night of their junior year. It was a whole thing and IYKYK! It was everything you could imagine “young love” to be. They spent the next summer and their senior year together. Then came the big life decisions. Rob chose to start school at Mercer that next August. Haleigh chose to go straight into the workforce. They tried to make it work, but it just couldn’t. Eventually they went their separate ways and made completely new lives for themselves. However, fate has a way of bringing things together when it's meant to be. In 2017, Haleigh moved back home to Macon. One night she met up with some old friends downtown and just happened to run into someone she hadn’t seen in almost 6 years—Rob. They talked for hours until their friends were long gone, and everything was closing... “The rest is history” as they say. It was all worth it. We truly believe everything that happened in our lives between the first time we fell in love and the second, shaped us to be better for each other. Life led us back to each other when the time was right. Now, we can’t be more in love or more excited to finally be getting MARRIED. We also can't wait to celebrate this long-awaited day with all of you!
