Met in 2018 when Jeff moved coaching staffs from Cosumnes Oaks to Laguna Creek. Ryan is the head football coach at Laguna Creek High School and Ryan and Jeff hang out almost every day at work.
Rae Gomez
Maid of Honor
Heather met Rae in March 2017 while working at Pinkerton Middle School. They quickly became friends and frequently go to concerts and watch bad movies together.
Jason Eres
Groomsman
A longtime family friend, Jason came aboard the JV coaching staff at Laguna Creek a few years ago. Jeff and Jason solidified their friendship over the last few seasons. They also see each other every day at work.
Amanda Katz
Bridesmaid
Amanda and Heather met in elementary school because their moms worked a cookie sale together. Growing up in the same neighborhood, Heather and Amanda have remained friends throughout their lives and frequently Snapchat.
Christian Barrientos
Groomsman
Jeff met Christian during his second year of coaching football. They all agree that coaching staff, along with the kids they had, made for the most fun year of coaching. Christian is the one who talked Jeff into transferring to Laguna Creek. The two still talk almost daily.
Kayla Lietzke
Bridesmaid
Heather, Jeff and Kayla all met at Pacific University in Forest Grove on the 2nd floor of their dorm, Clark Hall. Both Jeff and Heather later became RAs and worked with Kayla. Heather and Kayla have continued to remain friends after graduation. Heather and Jeff were even lucky enough to attend Kayla’s wedding in October 2021.
Matt Barmby

Matt is Jeff’s younger brother. While the years have been rough together (especially for Matt) the bond between them has never broken.
Kevin Pfau
Bridesman
Kevin and Heather met in sixth grade when they both attended a Napoleon Dynamite themed night at a local youth group. They quickly became friends over their love of cats and oftentimes partnered up in various classes. Now Kevin and Heather meet up whenever the other comes to visit.
Will Ayers
Officiant
Will was the head coach of the JV team Jeff was placed on during his second year of coaching football. With a bond based on football, jokes, respect, and love, Will was the first person the couple thought of when finding an officiant.
