Please RSVP via this website by April 15, 2022. Click the RSVP tab up top. We will NOT be sending paper invites so digital RSVP online via this website is the only way to RSVP for our wedding. Thank you!
Likely starting 2pm on Saturday for a 2:30pm ceremony, but we will update this website ASAP when the schedule is finalized.
Yes! Saturday (Wedding Day!) - black tie optional, aka tux or formal suit for men + evening gown or long formal cocktail for women Friday (Rehearsal Dinner, Chinese Tea Ceremony, Welcome Party) - cocktail attire
Kids are welcome to Friday events only: 1. Our welcome party at The Straffan Inn. 2. The Chinese Tea Ceremony tea serving & open viewing. Kids will need to hang back for the rehearsal dinner on Friday and Saturday's full slate of events. The K Club does offer professional babysitting and childcare. Here is the related information: For babysitting the charge is €15.00 per hour before midnight and €17.50 an hour after midnight; and is maximum two children per babysitter. Anyone who requires this can contact the reservations team (Ph: +353 (1) 601 7200 or reservations@kclub.ie) or our wedding planner Rachael (rachael.obrien@kclub.ie) and they can book it in for you.
You really can't go wrong with any hotel or Airbnb in downtown Dublin. There are so many near The Morrison, which is the downtown hotel where we have a room block and where we will be providing a bus shuttle to/from. Input "Temple Bar" or "city center" when searching to find all the different options in the heart of downtown. Also, in the event that the K Club room block is full and the price booked through another site is prohibitive, Barberstown Castle is nearby and another great option guests have begun booking. It's $170 on hotels.com and a 3-minute drive or 20-minute walk to The K Club and 13-minute walk to the Friday night welcome party at Straffan Inn.
We're inviting everyone as a couple/family or with a +1, which is unconditional. For those with a +1, please feel free to bring anyone you'd like - new significant other, recent fling, parent, sibling, friend, etc. :)
For those staying downtown, we will have a bus from The Morrison to The K Club, and back, on Saturday. Exact details will be added here closer to the big day.
Yes. Please just let us know when you RSVP and when you order your entree on Saturday evening. There is no pre-selection for the entree, as you will be able to choose from two at the reception, and can ensure any food allergies are specified when ordering.
Great question, we'd love to know this ourselves. :) July is the warmest month in Dublin and temperature usually hovers around the high 60s or low 70s if we are lucky. In general, we recommend packing for both spring and summer and bringing a light jacket or shawl and umbrella around with you just in case.
Of course - we are here to help and will be continuously updating the "Travel" tab as things continue to evolve. The good news is that as of March, 6, 2022, travelers to Ireland are NOT required to show proof of vaccination, proof of recovery or a negative PCR test result upon arrival. There are no post-arrival testing or quarantine requirements and no longer a requirement to complete a COVID-19 Passenger Locator Form. In other words, all travel requirements to enter Ireland have been removed! For those returning to the U.S., the U.S. still requires proof of negative test taken within 1 day of travel. The country is as of now (Mar. 2022) accepting FDA authorized eMed home tests for travel and treatment, taken virtually with a certified proctor through the website/app. It's super easy and super fast, as we have done it before when returning from international travel and it's reimbursable through insurance.
