Maid of Honor
It's true, Taylor is the natural choice for MOH, being that she's Lauren's sister. However she is also the very best choice. She is smart, very accustomed to dressing up, enjoys a good party, and has 26 years of practice helping her sister. Taylor is an Opera singer and, if provoked, she may be persuaded to provide some musical entertainment on the night of the wedding. Other than the bride & groom, Taylor may be the most excited about this wedding!
Best Man
Kevin and Sean strangely first met when Kevin was Sean's assistant basketball coach in 6th grade. They both grew up surfing the breaks of Santa Cruz, but really formed a close friendship years later in Santa Barbara. Sean would move into Kevin's house towards the tail end of his time at UCSB and the rest is history. Kevin lives in Goleta and runs his own gym as a personal trainer. He also plays in numerous bands in town and has also been seen moonlighting as Alex Trebek in a particularly special round of Jeopardy on Sean's 30th birthday.

Ashley and Lauren have been best friends since freshman year of high school. Their bond was instant - they shared a knack for getting in small amounts of trouble while having large amounts of fun. Ashley is creative, detail-oriented and can typically be found with a giant smile across her face. They've both lived all over California but managed to visit each other in every location and share some of the silliest memories.
Groomsman
Sean and Shaun have been friends since their teenage years; stemming from a common love for the ocean and surfing. Shaun lives in Santa Cruz these days and you can find him equally shredding the surf or the tennis courts. As seen from his picture, Shaun's most recent foray has been on the Pacific Crest Trail. Beginning at the border of Mexico in June, this picture was taken when Shaun had crossed into the mountains of northern Oregon. Shaun is the epitome of an adventurer and will never disappoint when it comes to having a good time.

Sam met Lauren in Ms. Gulas’ sixth grade homeroom class and was so excited to have a friend who was taller than her! She stopped growing, but their friendship didn’t. They’ve experienced so much together, from proms to college parties to international travel to endless wine and cheese nights. Sam is more than a friend, she's family.

Sean and James met four years ago, both starting work on the same day at Sonos. While James no longer shares office space with Sean, they continue to share good times; whether it be over a backyard bbq, or a nice afternoon on the golf course. James lives in Santa Barbara and enjoys a good beer, riding in the back country on his motorcycle, and surfing between the Channel Islands and Hollister Ranch.

Shane and Sean met on an early job out of college. Since then the two have traveled on camping trips, to baseball games, backpacked through Europe, had numerous nights of Catan and beer, and both been able to continue to call Santa Barbara home. Shane married his beautiful wife Tani in July of 2019 and are the soon-to-be Davis's perfect partners for a double date!
Officiant
Sean's uncle, and someone that has been close to and supportive of the couple from the start. As many of you know, Lauren and Sean spent a period close to two years in a long distance relationship while Lauren was in grad school. Sean's Aunt Liane and Uncle Mike graciously lent the couple their home many a times during that stretch, allowing the couple to grow their relationship. Mike hails from Santa Cruz and spent 36 years serving the country in the US Army, retiring at the prestigious rank of Lt General in 2011. He keeps busy with a wide array of hobbies, including competitive handball, traveling, riding motorcycles and spending lots of time with family. Sean has always looked up to Uncle Mike for his integrity, work ethic, and devotion to family.
