FAQs

Question

Can I bring a date / guest / plus one?

Answer

Due to capacity restrictions, we ask that you please refrain from bringing any additional guests unless specifically named on the invitation. We will not be able to accommodate additional guests. If in doubt, please check with Hailey or Tim.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We respectfully request that the reception be an adults-only event.

Question

What time should people arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive to St. Augustine and be seated with a program at 2:15pm, as our ceremony will begin promptly at 2:30pm.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! Cocktail attire, please.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

During the ceremony, we invite you to be fully present. We respectfully ask that you turn off and put away all phones/cameras and simply be in the moment with us. Our photographer will capture it all, and we’d love to see your faces (not your phones) out in the crowd and in our photos, which we will share with you. During the reception, we encourage you to be fully present—and know that our photographer and videographer will capture the "big moments" like speeches and first dances—but we also also welcome photos and videos that capture your perspective of the wedding, particularly any "small moments" that make up this special day with our closest family and friends. Please send any and all photos to Hailey and/or Tim.

Question

What are your wedding colors?

Answer

VERY, VERY optionally, for those interested in coordinating attire to our wedding color palette, you are welcome to consider: earth-tone pastels (e.g. dusty rose, light orange, terra cotta, soft greens, blues, thistle purple), florals, and navy blue.

Question

Do I have to stay in the listed hotels?

Answer

Nope! Guests are welcome to find their own accommodations and transportation to and from the events.

Question

What's the reception entertainment?

Answer

We're glad you asked! Our wedding will actually be a Rich Mahogany concert. Can't wait!! (Just kidding—our reception will be a normal [but very fun] reception!)

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

Please use the Registry tab on this website, where you can find all the items for which we've registered.

Question

Why Tarrytown & Larchmont?

Answer

The Hudson Valley is where Hailey fell in love with New York. Because Tim and Hailey know they want to build their life together in New York, they decided to look at it for their wedding—and absolutely fell in love with both Tappan Hill and St. Augustine. They hope you'll very much enjoy the area, from its Hudson River views to its place on the Metro North Hudson line (easily accessible from the city) and from its cute town vibes to its many accommodations options!

Question

Catholic question: June 29 is the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul, is it not?

Answer

That's right! The Mass readings will correspond with that particular day in the Catholic liturgical calendar. Though not intentionally planned, Tim and Hailey were very happy to realize that both of their Confirmation saints will be featured on the day: St. Peter for Tim (the feast day) and St. Augustine for Hailey (St. Augustine Church).

Question

Will there be a Mass as part of the ceremony?

Answer

Yes!

For all the days along the way
