Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

April 17th

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

No later than 4:10pm, the ceremony starts at 4:30pm. Please do not sit in the first two rows unless you are immediate family, there will be enough seating for everyone.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to venue limitations we ask our guest not to bring a plus one, only those addressed on the invitation.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your children this will be an adults only event.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Spring cocktail attire. Bride would love to see spring colors and she would prefer not to see jeans, t-shirts, and/or flip flops.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is plenty of parking between Yawl's Cafe and the Provisions store. If staying at River Dunes all rentals are less than a 15 min walk to venue. We will have a golf cart to pick up folks that would like a ride to the ceremony.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

If staying the night Friday and Saturday we welcome you to treat your stay like a vacation! Saturday morning wake up go have breakfast and a coffee at Yawl's Cafe, go for a bike ride, maybe a stroll down one of the nature trails, play some pickle ball. The world is your oyster!

Question

Will the ceremony and cocktail hour be held outdoors?

Answer

Yes, if weather permits. Reception will be held indoors.

Question

What is the weather typically like in Oriental?

Answer

May is usually beautiful time of year on the coast of NC! Spring is in the air and the temperature averages High 78F Low 60F. Since Oriental is a sailing town, it has been known to be a bit windy, so keep this in mind.

Question

Can I take photos at your wedding?

Answer

During the ceremony we would prefer if you refrained from taking photos. We have an amazing photographer that will be capturing it all. Afterwards please feel free! We would love to get as many photos as possible with our friends and family so please don't hesitate to ask! This weekend is all about making forever memories!
