He even "super liked" Hailey, trying to grab her attention like a peacock trying to lure a mate. As for Hailey, she was leery at first... she was moving to Denver to pursue her passion for skincare and didn't think meeting beforehand was such a grand idea. Spears thought all was lost until one day a couple months later Hailey had sent him a snapchat photo of a sketch she drew of Rick and Morty, characters on Spears's favorite tv show. Spears geeked out and proclaimed to his best friend Jake, "This is the girl of my dreams!" They bonded over their love of Rick and Morty, a thirst for travel, adventure, and French bulldogs(mainly Hailey's obsession). After months of modern day penpalling(a.k.a. texting) they gradually fell in love with each other without ever seeing the other face to face. When Hailey returned from Colorado, Spears organized a date then anxiously waited for that day to finally come. The day arrived and Spears drove to pick up Hailey.  He nervously walked up to the door, tulips in hand, and heart on his sleeve.
