Portland International Airport

The best airport to fly into for our wedding is the Portland International Airport (PDX). The airport is roughly 45 minutes from the town of Hood River. Centrally located to not only the wedding but beautiful Willamette Valley for those thinking about visiting Oregon wine country!

Rental Car

Turo

Rent a car with TURO! Uber and Lyft are not readily available in Hood River and it can be very expensive to get from the airport to Hood River. It is a 45-minute drive. We recommend using TURO or any mainstream car rental company. It is the Airbnb of car rentals! With so many great options with pick up and drop off at the Portland Airport, having a rental car will make your adventures so much easier. Please let us know if you have any questions. Transportation will be provided on the day of the wedding, to and from the venue.

Hotel

Hood River Inn - Best Western Plus

Stay here! Call the front desk directly to book your room, at 541-386-2200. This hotel will fill up quickly so please call as soon as possible. Not only is it the only accommodation on the river, but it is where the bride, groom, and families will be staying. The hotel's restaurant, 'Riverside', was recently featured in Travel + Leisure magazine, bar, pool, river views, and the "home base" for the weekend. Unfortunately, they are not allowing room blocks at this time.

Hood River Hotel

This is a "downtown" option for those who want to be in the heart of Hood River. Hood River is small and beautiful, and nothing is truly far. I would stay here if you want to walk to coffee, and restaurants, wine shops, etc. This is not on the river, but a fun option.
