The ceremony will begin at 3 pm, so we suggest planning to arrive by 2:30 in order to navigate the property, get a refreshment and get seated. If you plan on camping, you may arrive earlier to set up your camp.
No dress code, garden attire is appropriate. Floral patterns, sundresses, rompers, colorful suits, jeans or slacks, and button- ups. Whatever is comfortable and makes you feel festive. Keep in mind that it will be warm during the day and a bit chilly at night.
Yes! We will have quite a few children there, we are arranging to have some activities for them as well. Please keep in mind that the lake does not have a lifeguard on duty and children will need to be supervised around the water.
We are preparing a buffet style dinner with some of our Cajun favorites. There will also be a appetizers before hand. We will provide beer and wine for all of our guests, but you are allowed to bring your own liquor is you wish. We will also have an assortment of nonalcoholic beverages for the kiddos and anyone who prefers.
The wedding is outdoors so we will have a designated area for smoking celebratory cigars or cigarettes. All cigarette butts MUST be properly disposed of. We will supply ashtrays and they must be used. We expect no cigarette butts to be left on the ground.
Absolutely! Just be sure to include them in your RSVP so we have a chair and food for them.
Yes! There are two bathrooms with running water next to the reception and several electrical outlets.
