FAQs

The Wedding Website of Hailey Bridges and Brett Lynch
If you have any other questions besides what is listed below, feel free to text Hailey at (816) 752-7730 or Brett at (816) 689-9086. We ask that you don't text the bride the day of! We will have some back-up numbers for you to text or call the day of!
Question

What time should I arrive at the reception?

Answer

We are setting time aside for family pictures, as well as bride and groom pictures. We are planning to have snacks set up at the reception venue and the bar will be available at 4 pm. The DJ will be setting up at 4 pm. 4:30 pm - 5 pm will be the optimal arrival time for the reception. The bride and groom entrance will be between 5 pm and 5:30 pm.

Question

What food and drinks will be at the reception?

Answer

We will provide food at the reception (BBQ). We will also be providing water, tea (sweet and unsweet), and lemonade. Pop and any alcoholic drinks will have to be purchased from the bar. ***The bar only takes cash, but there will also be an ATM in the venue!***

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you're questioning, just ask! We do ask that if we have not met your plus one, that you confirm it with us in advance. If we have never met them, they probably don't need to be at our wedding. Of course, it never hurts to ask!

Question

Do you guys have a registry?

Answer

Yes, we do! Rather than using the registry built into Zola (which has really pricey items), we have decided to create an Amazon registry! Here is the link for our registry: https://www.amazon.com/wedding/share/lynchwedding26

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Our favorite hotel in the area is Stoney Creek! They have a pool and a hot tub, which is great, but they also have comfortable beds, delicious breakfast (included), and an altogether wonderful experience! Depending on the room you get, they also include a personal jacuzzi hot tub in the room! We highly recommend this hotel!

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

For the ceremony, there may be champagne, but that would be all the alcohol. However, we will have a cash bar available at the reception for guests to purchase their preferred drinks. ***We want everyone to be aware that the bar is CASH ONLY, and there is an ATM in the building if you forget to bring cash with you!***

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony or reception?

Answer

We will not be providing transportation to either the ceremony or the reception. I do know St. Joseph has Uber as well as "Go Go Cab" which is a taxi service. I know no one wants to drink and drive, so we want everyone to be safe. We may be able to work something out with a few of the teenagers in our family to be designated drivers for a small fee.
