When Hailey first transferred from Morrisville to SUNY Cobleskill, she wasn’t sure what to expect. A new school meant new faces, new routines, and a fresh start. As she settled into classes and campus life, she never imagined how big of a change this decision would bring. Through social media, she connected with someone who was also attending Cobleskill. At first it was casual but eventually they decided to hang out in person. What started as a simple meet-up quickly turned into something more. They laughed easily, talked for hours, and it felt like they had known each other much longer than they actually had. Then came the surprise neither of them were expecting: even though they met in Cobleskill, their hometowns were only about 20 minutes apart. All along, they had been living so close without even realizing it. Hailey originally planed on staying at Cobleskill for 2 more years to earn a bachelor’s degree, however Braeden was in his final semester. After some thought, Hailey decided to earn an associate’s degree instead and was able to walk the graduation stage with Braeden! What began as a transfer to a new college turned into a memorable love story. God had crafted the perfect plan for each of them!
