Keri has been a dear friend of Michelle's since 2007. The best travel buddy a person could ask for. We've been on adventures in Door County, New Orleans, Florida, and Michigan. Even though we don't live in the same city anymore, every time we talk or get together we pick back up as if no time has gone by. Thank you for showing me what a true friend is.

Grace is Michelle's eldest niece. I'll never forget that anticipation and excitement when I learned I'd become an Aunt! Grace sure does emulate her name. We are so happy that she is will be with us on our special day.

Eva is Michelle's youngest niece. When Eva was around 5 years old and asked "Who is your best friend?" she would respond "Aunt Chelle". The first thing Eva enthusiastically asked right after the proposal was "Can I call you Uncle Mwita now?!" The bond those two have is quite special.

Vincent is a friend, colleague, and confidant. He is the only genuine friend who has stood the test of time for friendship. Vincent will tell you like it is, which I admire about him. He has helped me grow as a person and friend.
Chacha Mahiri

Chacha is my nephew whom I adore for the special role he plays in my life since I've come to the US. He is always the "go to" person whenever I feel low or need someone to uplift my spirits. As it is, he reminds me that "we have come from far", and the future is much brighter than our past. Though Chacha is older than myself, he still calls me taata (meaning small father)
