Ah, the good ol’ Catholic gap! After the ceremony, there will be a break while the wedding party takes photos and handle wedding shtuff. Check out the Things to Do page for ideas! Hot take: Head downtown to explore, freshen up, grab a drink or grub. Catbird is also a swanky bar at the Thompson. Thanks to that break, Aidan & Blair actually get to attend cocktail hour! 🥂 We’ll see you at 6:00 PM for cocktail hour, then dinner will start at 7:00 PM.
Children are welcome to attend our 2:00 PM Wedding Mass! Due to venue limitations, our 6:00-11:00 PM reception will be an adults-only celebration. Please reach out to Blair if you are traveling with children and need help for the evening as she will gladly assist in finding a trustworthy sitter.

Friday Night Welcome Party: There is free valet at Mexican Sugar! Uber is a better option of course. Saturday wedding: You are more than welcome to drive to the church for the 2:00 PM Mass, as there is plenty of parking available. After the ceremony, we recommend heading home to drop off your car before meeting us at The Thompson at 6:00 PM. We'd love for everyone to relax, enjoy the evening, and celebrate without worrying about driving - Uber is your friend! 😊 If you DO drive to The Thompson, discounted valet parking is available right at the entrance. There is also an affordable public parking lot on Elm Street, in between Akard and Field St.
