For the best possible view of the fall patchwork of Vermont's Green Mountains, you simply can't beat this one. Once you step off onto the 4,241-foot elevation Killington Peak, there's an optional (moderate difficulty) short hike to the very top the best visibility. During peak season, expect to pay $41 per person.
If you can get an early enough tee time, feel free to enjoy this well-rated golf course right next door to the Inn. Be sure to book well in advance (at least 2 months)!
