Namsan Tower is a must-see while in Korea! It’s extra special to us because it’s where Jojo officially asked me to be his girlfriend. Oh, how time flies! We can’t wait to make even more memories here with all of you!
For the brave at heart: if you’d like to conquer a hike up Bukhansan Mountain, you’re in good company! On our very first international trip together, we were ‘tricked’ into tackling this hike so it holds a special place in our story. In honor of Joanne and Blake, anyone interested can team up to plan a climb for some fresh air, water, and plenty of steps!
Insadong is a charming neighborhood near the palace, filled with restaurants, cafes, and shops tucked into traditional-style buildings. While you’re there, you can even rent a traditional Korean hanbok to wear, which also gives you free entry into the palace. It’s such a fun way to experience the culture! It’s one of our favorite spots and also where we had one of the yummiest Italian meals ever (yes, chef!).

We highly recommend checking out Onion Café while you’re here, it’s one of our favorites!

Myeongdong is a must-visit for skincare lovers, Popmart fans, and foodies alike! Don’t miss Myeongdong Kalguksu (knife-cut noodles), and the lively outdoor street food scene that pops up after 4 PM. Just remember, it’s cash only!
