FAQs

Question

Where will the wedding be?

Answer

Samcheonggak Daesagwan-or 3-Gil , Seoul, South Korea Samcheonggak.or.kr

Question

When should I arrive to Korea?

Answer

We kindly recommend arriving at least two days prior to the wedding. Since flight schedules can be affected by weather or mechanical delays, arriving early will help ensure a smooth and stress-free start to your trip. This also allows time to settle in, adjust to the time difference, and join us for the welcome dinner. It also gives you the chance to explore the area before the celebrations begin.

Question

How to get around Korea?

Answer

Uber is the easiest way. Uber is attached to all taxis in Korea. Public transportation, including the subway and buses, is available for your convenience. Please note that a T-Money card, which can be purchased and reloaded with cash at local convenience stores, is required for use. Alternatively, ride-hailing services such as Uber or traditional taxis are also readily available.

Question

What will the weather be like at the end of April in Korea?

Answer

Spring is in full bloom at the end of April in Korea, with mild and pleasant weather. It will be perfect for celebrating with us! Days are generally warmer, but evenings can get a little chilly, so layering is key.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate with each of you! Please note that invitations are addressed to the specific guests included. If a plus one was offered, their name will appear on your invitation.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we’re keeping our wedding an adults-only celebration (with the exception of our nieces and nephews). We hope this gives you a chance to relax, enjoy the evening, and dance the night away with us!

Question

Will there be parking?

Answer

Yes, there is free parking available at the venue. If you're taking public transportation, a shuttle will run from the bus stop at the bottom of the hill up to the venue to make your trip easier.

Question

What’s the dress code?

Answer

We kindly request semi-formal attire. Suits, cocktail dresses, and other semi-formal styles are welcome. To honor the couple, we ask that guests refrain from wearing white, cream, tan, or sage green.

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive by 5:30 PM. The ceremony will begin shortly after, and we kindly ask everyone to be seated by then. If you arrive early, feel free to enjoy a drink or snack from the on-site café before the celebration starts!

Question

Is the venue indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The celebration will take place in both indoor and outdoor spaces at the same venue. The ceremony and reception will be outdoors, while dinner will be served indoors. Please dress comfortably and check the weather ahead of time!

Question

Where’s your registry? Can we bring gifts?

Answer

Your presence is the greatest gift and you're not obligated to bring anything! If you do wish to give a gift, we kindly ask that you have it shipped to our home or consider a cash gift, as we'll be traveling and won’t have space to bring things back with us. You can find our registry on our website here.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We’ll have unlimited wine, beer, soju, and soft drinks available throughout the night. Cheers!
