Best Man
(Brother) I’ve had the jealousy-inducing privilege of knowing Kenton my entire life. A fun memory is he and I getting into air-soft gun fights in the backyard of our new house (which was just all dirt at the time) and getting quite upset about getting hit. While we’ve always had our differences, I guess he’s technically still the “wiser one”. James 1:2-4
Maid of Honor
(Sister) Hi everyone, I’m Meghan, Hadley’s favorite sister and maid of honor. I’ve known Hadley quite literally my whole life, and I’m so excited to stand next to her on her big day! I have so many fun memories with my sister, but my favorite has to be when I came out of the womb and saw her smiling face (that was the first and last time she was happy to see me). Psalm 42:1

(Cousin) Out of the countless memories I’ve had with Kenton, I must say the best was being able to call him a roommate! We’ve been through it all, from seeing each other on holidays to eventually living together! Kenton is one of the most Godly and caring men I have met and has always pushed me to be the best version of myself! Right as Kenton moved in with me, I vividly remember him talking about Hadley. Within a few weeks she visited and we were able to go on a double date and meet the girl he was so smitten with! From the start, it has been awesome to see them grow into the couple they are now with God at the center of all they do. I was lucky enough to have Kenton by my side through my recent engagement and wedding and I feel so honored to be there for his as well! Proverbs 3:3-6

(Soon to be Sister) I’ve loved getting to know you over the span of your relationship with Kenton. We’re so blessed that he found such a Godly woman like you, who shares such an amazing love for the Lord. Some of my favorite memories are the small moments we share, like having dinner at your apartment and getting to really know you, talking about everything and really bonding. I love having you over and having family dinner and game nights. I can’t wait for you and Kenton to get married, and for you to be my first sister! Isaiah 40:31

(Cousin) My favorite memory with Kenton, while many, has to be going to the Colorado vs. Nebraska game in 2018. It was a great weekend getaway from school at Dordt and happened to be Scott Frost’s first game at Nebraska. Even though we lost in a heartbreaker on the last play of the game, which has been a common theme with Nebraska football lately, it was definitely something I’ll never forget. While Kenton is not only family to me, he is also a trusted confidant and friend. He is someone who I’ve gone to for advice especially during my college years. Psalm 46:1-2 God’s Blessings to you both as you embark on this journey together!

(Soon to be Sister) Hi, I’m Molly! I’m friends with Hadley and date Kenton’s brother, Devin! I’m so excited to see these two come together as one. My friendship with Hadley started in junior high as we knew each other from media class but had gone off to different high schools. God graciously rekindled our friendship by bringing her back into my life via Kenton and making her a soon-to-be sister! My favorite memory of our friendship is our game nights and Sunday brunch dates! I’m so thankful that God brought our lives together again and that I get to be a part of you and Kenton’s love story! I love you both! James 1:17

(Cousin) Although I have had a lot of great moments with Kenton, one of the things I enjoy the most is playing games with him. The laughs, the competitiveness, the immense amount of hate I quickly develop for him when I’m playing against him (which quickly goes away afterwards, don’t worry), and just the admiration of how good he is at literally every game we’ve ever played. From body slamming an extremely young, yet extremely brave, Karlie in FLAG football games, to deceiving all his loved ones into thinking he is on their side before disposing of them with ease as he reveals that he is the bad guy, there is never a dull moment when competing with him and it is something I look forward to whenever we get together. Luke 18:27

(Cousin) When we were little, we would stay at our grandparents house down in Shafter and we would hang out outside. Kenton got a magnifying glass and we started to light things on fire like leaves and grass using the sun. Then Kenton thought it was a good idea to light my rubber flip flops on fire while I was wearing them and he told me it was okay because rubber doesn’t burn. Spoiler alert: rubber burns. I trusted him so obviously I let him do it. And so Kenton literally lit my shoe on fire as I was wearing it. Deuteronomy 31:6

(Friend/College Roommate) My favorite memory is one specific night April 2017, on the floor of our college dorm, where we prayed bold prayers for each others future husbands. We proclaimed victory over our futures and the men God would place in our lives. Hadley has one of the most rare and beautiful hearts, so I knew only someone really special deserved to capture it. When Kenton came into the picture, Hadley gained this deep joy about her, a type of joy that only comes from The Lord. He carried his love for Christ with such bold and inspiring confidence which is clear to anyone who interacts with him. I knew she was in good hands and I’m so happy that she found the one that God had planned for her. 1 Corinthians 13:13

(Friend/College Roommate) Oh, where do I begin! Hadley and I share too many memories to count due to us going through high school together, playing on the softball team together, and being roommates all four years in college. Hadley truly lights up every room and she makes everyone want to be her friend with her relatable personality, caring heart, and hilarious humor. Had and I share some of the most special memories. In college we would stay up until 5 in the morning talking about life, our love for God, and wanting to find our husbands! God is SO good and always provides! Kenton truly makes Hadley light up and has helped her become such a strong woman in Christ. I can’t wait to see their love story unfold. I know God has big plans for them both. I love you guys!! Lamentations 3:22-23

(Friend) I’ll always remember when we stayed up until the wee hours doing the most random things: watching TV shows in a study room, listening to music from high school, pulling an all-nighter before Kenton left Nebraska to head back to California, going to a movie at 2 AM and just talking about Jesus and life’s ups and downs. Eating lots of cereal or bread was usually involved too. Micah 6:8

(Friend) My cherished friendship with Hadley was in a way unexpected yet brought by God at just the right time. Hadley is the type of friend who goes above and beyond. She is such an encouragement to me and is there for the lows and the highs. She is so loyal, hilarious, and full of great wisdom. My favorite memories with Hadley include our weekly bible studies. These moments are filled with laughter and honesty. I thank God for a friendship I know will last a lifetime. Proverbs 3:5

(Cousin) Our family has been pretty blessed to go on a lot of trips together and some of my favorites have been when we all go to Disneyland. On one of our trips to Disneyland in particular, Kenton and I rode the Matterhorn ride together back when two people had to sit in the same seat and we thought that if we pushed our legs against the front of the ride it would make the vehicle go faster. I don’t think it worked and it’s kind of random that I remembered it, but I do remember having a fun time. Philippians 4:13

(Friend) My name is Dominique, but my friends call me Dom. I have known Kenton for just a few years and Hadley an even shorter amount of time. They have quickly become two of my closest friends. Favorite memory? Going to the beach to play board games and enjoy some sunshine. I'm so stoked for future married couple vacations! John 13:35
