Please respond whether or not you will be attending our wedding by August 10th, 2024. If you do not RSVP by the above given date, we do plan to reach out to all individuals that are marked "no response" on our RSVP tracker to ensure their response. We understand that not everyone may be available for this date, however, we need prompt responses as our venue and caterers need a final count to plan for the wedding day.
Please arrive no later than 15 minutes before the ceremony time listed on the Schedule page. We understand that there are unforeseen circumstances that cannot be planned for, if this is the case and you arrive after the ceremony has begun, please be respectful and enter towards the back of the church at an appropriate time.
We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This just means we are asking that all phones and devices are put away and on silent/turned off during the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer to capture our special day, and we'd hate for the shots to have phones in them. Guests will be reminded before the ceremony to ensure phones are not caught in our professional photos.
We would LOVE to see our family & friends get dressed up for our big day! The dress code is semi formal. The reception is outdoors, and for this time of year in Wisconsin, please dress accordingly. If cold weather is foreseen, heaters will be provided.
If "guest" is listed when you RSVP, then yes! Additionally, if you are given a "guest" whose name we do not know during the RSVP process, via our website or on your invitation, please feel free to update the website response with their name. Due to limited capacity, we politely ask that you do not bring a guest as we desire to keep our special day as intimate as possible with family & close friends! Thank you for understanding!
We love your kids! Please be aware that our reception venue is near water and an active train track, and we will be taking all precautions to ensure the safety of our guests and any children attending. Due to the limitations of our venue, the children attending will be limited. Please refer to your invitation to see whether your children can make an appearance on our special day. We hope this advance notice means you can plan accordingly and still share in celebrating our big day.
We planned for transportation to not be a problem from the ceremony, reception, or hotel. Each location is within walking distance of each other. There will be parking spaces available for those who are handicapped or who have limitations. Information will be provided to those guests. Guests who are not planning to stay at the hotel can find parking at the public ramp or at the Marathon County Municipal Building lots across the road from Whitewater Music Hall. See the Travel page for more information.
We're looking forward to celebrating with you on our big day. Having you attend our wedding is the greatest gift of all, however, if you're looking for wedding gift ideas, we've registered on Amazon, Target, and Zola. Additionally, if you feel inclined to give us a wedding gift, a contribution towards our Honeyfund would help get our newlywed life off to a great start.
