This state park preserve is situated on the Shawangunk Mountain Ridge and offers numerous waterfalls, three crystalline sky lakes, dense hardwood forests, sheer cliffs and ledges opening to beautiful views, clear streams cut into valleys, and footpaths on which to bike, walk, hike and simply enjoy. Some notable hikes are Gertrude's Nose, Sam's Point, and Compass Rock.
