Will the events take place inside or outside?

Answer

Both the ceremony as well as the reception will take place indoors.

Question

Are the events taking place at the same location?

Answer

No. The ceremony will begin at 3 p.m. at St.Margaret Mary's Catholic Church. A reception will follow in the Renaissance Room at The Emporium by Yarlen beginning at 5 p.m. with cocktail hour. The travel time between the two locations is an estimated 11 minutes.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you plan to arrive at least 15 to 30 minutes prior to the start time. Doing so will allow our guests to have adequate time to settle before the ceremony begins. San Antonio traffic can be unpredictable, be sure to give yourself a time cushion when it comes to travel time!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code Is black tie optional, formal required. We want to see our guests go all out! This is a fun time and we can't wait to see you look AMAZING! We encourage women to wear an ankle/floor length dress or even an evening gown. We kindly ask for women to avoid dresses above ankle length. Men are encouraged to wear a tuxedo but are more than welcome to opt for a dark colored suit as well. We kindly ask please no jeans,denim or khaki. Can't wait to see you!

Should I wear a certain color?

Answer

Our loved ones are our SOMETHING BLUE! We encourage you, our family and friends,to wear your favorite shade of blue! Whether it be a blue dress, shoes, bow tie/ tie or jewelry, have fun with it!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Due to limited availability at our venue, we kindly ask that your RSVP no later than September 14, 2025.

Can I bring a plus one or someone not included on the invitation?

Answer

Words can not describe how excited we are to celebrate this special day with friends and family! Due to our venue's capacity, the events are invitation only. All guests invited will be specified directly on the invite. If you have received a plus one, it will be specified when you RSVP.

All guests as well as children invited will be specified on the invitations. We are delighted to celebrate with those who are invited to join us!

Are the venues handicap accessible?

Answer

Yes, we are very grateful to say that the church includes a ramp for easier accessibility in. The reception venue does not require any stairs to access the actual building! Cocktail hour will take place on the second floor of the Renaissance room. If necessary, you are more than welcome to use the ballroom's elevator in order to access the second floor.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, both the church as well as the reception venue have parking lots large enough to accommodate all of our guests!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

The hotels we recommend do offer shuttle services. Lyft and Uber services can also be used as transportation and are great options to utilize after the reception as well!
