What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue at least 30 minutes before the ceremony. This will ensure you have ample time to be comfortably seated by 5:15pm and fully enjoy the start of our wedding.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

We have carefully selected our guest list to create an intimate celebration, and as such, invitations are addressed specifically to those invited. We appreciate your understanding that additional plus-ones will not be possible for this event.

Are my children allowed to join?

Answer

While we love children, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration (with the exception of any families traveling internationally). We appreciate your understanding and support.

Yes, parking is complimentary.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We have not arranged transportation between the hotel, airport, and venue. However, the Country Inn River Falls is conveniently located in the same parking lot as our wedding venue, making it easy for guests to walk between the two. Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will unfold in the beautiful outdoor amphitheater, with the cocktail hour and reception elegantly hosted indoors. While guests will follow paved pathways to reach their seats, there will be a brief moment of walking on grass. We recommend avoiding stiletto heels to ensure everyone's comfort and ease of movement during the event.

Is there a dress code?

Our dress code is cocktail attire: stylish and polished, with a dressy look that includes a tie. Feel free to add a blazer if you'd like, but it's not required. Please note: white and ivory are reserved for the wedding party, so we kindly ask guests to choose other colors.

What’s the weather like in River Falls, WI?

Answer

Early May in River Falls usually brings mild spring weather with daytime temperatures between 55–70°F (13–21°C) and cooler evenings around 40–50°F (4–10°C). Light rain is possible. We recommend bringing layers, such as a light rain jacket, sweater, and comfortable shoes,

What’s the best airport to use?

Answer

Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) is the most convenient airport for our wedding location. While direct public transit to our recommended hotels and venue is limited, private transportation options are readily available to ensure easy travel for our guests.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

While we won't be hosting an open bar, the venue offers convenient payment options, accepting both cash and credit cards. For your convenience, an ATM is also available on-site.

What type of food will be served?

Answer

During cocktail hour, guests will enjoy a selection of elegant hors d'oeuvres, followed by a buffet dinner featuring meat, fish, and fresh salad options to ensure there's something delicious for everyone.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We've carefully planned our buffet menu to offer a delightful variety of dishes that cater to many tastes. If you have a specific dietary requirement, our venue can provide a personalized alternative meal. Simply speak with a staff member during the reception. We kindly request that you use this option only if absolutely essential, as these special meals involve additional preparation costs.

Can I bring a gift to the wedding?

We warmly welcome gifts at our home in Munich or through our wedding card box at the reception. We're touched by your thoughtfulness and generosity.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We ask that you be fully present and enjoy the moment. Our photographer will capture all the memories, which we'll share with you later.
