This used to be a bank. Now it’s a baroque fever dream with oat milk. Honestly, we should’ve just gotten married here. Whether you’re grabbing a coffee, soaking in the architecture, or getting a bit of work done, it’s one of our all-time favorite spots.
Tucked behind an old flower and gift shop in Montreal’s tiny but vibrant Chinatown, Fleurs et Cadeaux is a hidden sushi speakeasy that instantly won us over. It’s also where we had our very first date in the city—great vibes, amazing food, and a little magic behind the curtain.
When we can’t agree on what to eat (a regular occurrence), Time Out Market is our go-to fix—with everything from Paul Toussaint’s bold Caribbean flavors to Romados’ legendary Portuguese chicken and some of the best pizza in the city at Moleskine. It’s a one-stop flavor parade where indecision is part of the fun.
Dandy is known for their brunch —tiny, trendy, and always buzzing with great food and even better, people-watching. We love the fried chicken sandwich and lemony pancakes, but honestly, half the fun is eavesdropping on dramatic brunch convos at the next table.
OASIS at Palais des congrès is perfect for when Montreal decides to be wildly cold—it’s immersive, interactive, and lets us be silly little kids while staying toasty. Think floor-to-ceiling projections, trippy visuals, and zero chance of frostbite.
The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts has an incredible collection—especially the O’Keeffes. It’s one of our favorite places to wander, marvel at the stunning halls, and make up wildly inaccurate art interpretations—because we’re not serious people, and this isn’t the Da Vinci Code.
If the weather’s kind, the Mount Royal lookout is the perfect hike—peaceful, scenic, and just enough of a workout to earn your bagel after. It’s also where our proposal happened, with sweeping views of the city, the water, and a moment we’ll never forget. Don’t worry you can drive to the top too ;)
Notre-Dame Basilica is already breathtaking, but the AURA light show turns it into something otherworldly—think lasers, orchestral music, and a full-on celestial spectacle inside a cathedral. It’s like stepping into a sacred rave (minus the glow sticks).
Tucked into the quiet charm of the hipster Plateau neighborhood, La Panzeria is one of those places we never stop talking about. Pierpaolo, the warm-hearted owner, now greets us like old friends — probably because we keep coming back for his unreal focaccia with prosciutto and fig and fuego pistachio bombolini.
