South Asian attire like lehengas, anarkalis, and kurtas are perfect, but Western or Indo-Western outfits in rich colors, luxe fabrics, or playful silhouettes are just as welcome—think cocktail meets cultural celebration, with room to move and shine.
An evening inspired by the warmth of a Punjabi mehfil and the energy of a Montreal night—heartfelt performances, and plenty of dancing. Bring your dancing juttis and a smile :)
11:30 am - 1:30 pm
This is a playful, colorful celebration—expect turmeric, flying flower petals, and plenty of photos. Wear something bright (yellows and oranges are traditional), and easy to move in—you will get messy, in the best way.
Join us for the Vatna and Haldi ceremony on the rooftop of the Hyatt Centric, beside the pool. This joyful, color-filled celebration will take place outdoors, so please dress accordingly. Brunch will be served concurrently in the Cartier Arms restaurant on the ground floor. Due to limited rooftop capacity, we encourage guests to float between the two spaces—feel free to enjoy brunch before heading up, or partake in the haldi and then make your way downstairs for a bite! Brunch will open at 11am.
9:00 am
The bride’s side will be in sage green, the groom’s in rose (Kashmiri chai pink), and guests are welcome to coordinate.
The ceremony will take place outdoors, and guests will be seated on the ground—so please wear modest, comfortable clothing you can sit in with ease. Head coverings are required during the ceremony; scarves and bandanas will be provided, and if you’d like to wear a turban, just let us know and we’ll help you tie one. For those new to Sikh ceremonies: covering your head and dressing respectfully are standard gurdwara customs, and we’ll make sure everything you need is available at the entrance.

Black Tie Preferred
Think forest at midnight: moody, elegant, and a little enchanted. Deep navy, charcoal, black, burgundy, metallics, and shadowy florals are all welcome. Men - your tuxedo doesn’t need to be black!
