It all began in the summer of 2022, when we met at Kinective Gym in El Paso, Texas. What started as a chance encounter in a fitness class quickly grew into a close friendship, meeting every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:00 a.m. to work out, laugh, and support one another. In November 2022, our friendship turned into something more. On April 12, 2024, Guillermo proposed during a picnic in her favorite city, Austin, Texas — which is why we chose April 11 to celebrate our wedding, surrounded by the people we love most.
