Religious Ceremony

6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

This event is the religious marriage ceremony and will be taking place at a local mosque. The event will last about 45 minutes and start at 6:30 pm. Parking will be free on-site. All who can attend are welcome regardless of religious affiliation. If attending, it is kindly asked that you follow appropriate modest attire for visiting a mosque. Modest Attire (Business Casual): Loose fitting clothing (not overtly form fitting). Other modest religious attire is welcome. More specific details by gender are located under the 'FAQs' tab. Please be prepared to remove shoes when entering the mosque.

Engagement Reception

7:00 pm - 11:00 pm

William and Gufran invite you to celebrate this momentous occasion through a night of music, food, and dancing as they honor their cultures in this journey of love and commitment. The reception will be held at UNT Denton in the Emerald Ballroom of the University Union building. Pre-paid covered parking is available in the Highland Street Parking Garage. More information on parking can be found under the 'FAQs' tab. Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. Cultural attire is more than acceptable.
