Learn about the history of Cooper's Mill and observe firsthand how delicious ripe fruits are cooked into our irresistible jams, jellies and apple butter. Our all-natural products contain no artificial colors, preservatives, or corn syrups. After the tour, be sure to visit our country market and gift shop where our complete line of products is available for purchase. Free samples are provided for your enjoyment! Built in 1892, this restored Toledo & Ohio Central passenger station is open to the public. Now on the National Register of Historic Places, this structure has been restored by the Bucyrus Preservation Society. When visiting the station, you may hear the conductor telling the story of the building and the restoration project, including the beautiful stained glass windows. Tours may be arranged by contacting the Bucyrus Tourism and Visitors' Bureau. Talk about doing this as an event, as it is by prearranged appointment only, for tours!

Please note that the conservetory is an awesome trip in itself but November 4, 2018 is the last Live Fire Sunday event of the year! Check out live-fire cooking and sample food hot off the flames at these casual and entertaining cooking demos. On November 4, staff demonstrate how to make Moroccan ancient grain stew with root vegetables in the Rumford cooking fireplace and pita bread in the wood-fired oven. At the Live Fire Cooking Theater on the ScottsMiracle-Gro Community Garden Campus, Jim Budros and Conservatory staff demonstrate different cooking techniques the first Sunday of each month (May–November) from 1–4 pm using the wood-fired brick oven, Aztec grill, Big Green Egg, the fireplace or the campfire pit. No registration required.
