FAQs

Fun Fact Our Ceremony takes place a year and a day after we were engaged, sharing an anniversary with a family member. Jade loves People and Parties. Flynn is shy and very licky. Mike loves Butter Pecan Ice Cream and Jessica very much prefers Mint Chocolate Chip. Country Road Manners: 1. When traveling down Gravel and Paved Roads without Lines, slow down and hug the road side when passing an oncoming vehicle. But avoid falling in the ditch! 2. Wave to your passing neighbors! We are all friends out here and enjoy a nice acknowledgement. 3. Remember, unlike super-city etiquette, deer have the right of way as they are poor at following road signs.

What should I wear?

Answer

Morral, OH weather in early November can range from 35 to 68F with records of 18 and 78F. We are hoping for sun, blue skies and 50-70F fall day. Sandals or flats may be your best shoes for grass, brick and gravel at the wedding site (games!). Bring a shawl or light jacket for with your dressy casual outdoor day. Gents are not required to have a jacket or blazer but should choose a tie.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have several hotels around the Morral Triangle Area. They are between 14 -27 minutes travel from the venue site. I recommend Marion area hotels if you want more variety of shops around while both Bucyrus and Upper Sandusky have shopping available, Marion is the center of commerce area. The HideAway is a beautiful hotel but geared towards couples who don't mind stairs.

Answer

Morral, OH is situated in the Eastern time zone and is currently following daylight savings time. Most of the state of Indiana, outside the northwestern corner, follows Eastern. Question

Are your dogs friendly?

Answer

Both Jade and Flynn are very friendly. Jade is a 65 pound black lab at 9 years old, she is a people pup and will be where the party is. Flynn is a 35 pound sheppard basenji mix at about 2.5 years old. He is a shelter dog who is very shy but sweet. They will be on leads during Ceremony and Reception times and under the care of our Right Hand, Heather Truckey. They will be off lead during other events at our home but may be outside for some of the time in our fenced yard. They are both barky when people approach the house but VERY friendly.
