Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Samantha Nelson and Christopher Growney Jr
We’re so excited for y’all to explore our new home and hope you love it as much as we do! Savannah is full of history, charm, and a little bit of magic—plus, you can walk around with a drink in hand (yes, Savannah has an open container policy 🍹).

The Savannah Riverwalk

A must-see waterfront area that captures Savannah’s charm. Stroll the brick pathways, watch massive ships pass by, and pop into shops, pubs, and restaurants along the way. It’s the perfect spot to take in the view, enjoy live music, or grab a drink to go while exploring.

Forsyth Park

The heart of historic Savannah! Start your Saturday morning at the Forsyth Farmers Market (9am–1pm) featuring local produce, meats, cheeses, and handmade goods. Even if you skip the market, make sure to check out the iconic Forsyth Fountain, one of Savannah’s most photographed spots.

Tybee Island

Need a little R&R? Head 25 minutes east to Tybee Island for some sunshine, beach walks, and local eats. This quiet coastal escape is perfect for a relaxed afternoon. Don’t miss the shops, restaurants, and local breweries nearby! P.S We'll see you there on Sunday!

Some of Our Favorites

♡ Starland Yards — A fun, open-air hangout with rotating food trucks, drinks, live music, and games. Great for groups! ♡ Corleone’s — Cozy Italian spot downtown, perfect for pasta lovers and a good glass of wine. ♡ Collins Quarter — Our go-to for brunch or a coffee date. Try their spiced lavender mocha or smashed avocado toast. ♡ Treylor Park — Creative comfort food with a twist. The nachos (made with waffle fries!) are a must. ♡ The Wyld Dock Bar — Waterfront restaurant on the marsh with great seafood, drinks, and live music — ideal for a sunset dinner. ♡ Bubba’s Tankhouse — A casual local favorite in Thunderbolt with southern-style dishes, outdoor seating, and live tunes. ♡ The French Market — Stop by for coffee, pastries, and local goods. You might lose track of time browsing through everything inside.
