Both will be at the Carrick House in Lexington, KY.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat.

Our universal registry can be found right here on out website! It combines our registries from Bed Bath & Beyond as well as Amazon.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and the reception will be held indoors.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can tour throughout the 1st floor of the house where we will be serving finger foods and beverages.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Guest may enjoy free parking in the main lot of the Carrick House. Overflow parking is adjacent to the Carrick House at Lexington Traditional Magnet School on Limestone Street.

Are kids welcome?

Unfortunately, as much we'd love to invite all of our friends' children, we can only accommodate a few close family children. We hope that you will understand this decision and that you will still be able to join us on our special day.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget and allow proper ceremony seating. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

Yes. Please refer to the "Travel" page for hotel block information.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

The deadline to RSVP is August 12th 2022. You can RSVP online on Zola or you may send in the RSVP card.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Our reception will be buffet style featuring salmon, beef, and chicken. We will also have an open bar.

Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?

Answer

The Hilton hotel is located .4 miles from the Carrick House. At this time, transportation is not provided.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #GrosslyinLove2022 so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
