We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! We are only allowing family members to bring their kids, if they would like. If your Invite or Save the Date has "The ___Family" then your children may attend. If it is addressed to only you and your significant other, they may not attend. We have a few recommendations for babysitters in the area, so please give us a text if you're interested! Otherwise, please check out Care.com, Sittercity, or collegenanniesandtutors.com for babysitters.
Yes! You must wear a mask walking into the ceremony, but may take it off at your seat. You must also wear it walking into the reception and while going through the buffet line. You may take it off for the duration of the reception.
If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you. Due to Covid19, we have had to cut our guest list, so no additional guests may be invited.
We will not be providing transportation. Because of our location in the mountains, if you order an Uber from the venue the night of the wedding, it will show as "Location cannot be found" and will not come pick you up. Therefore please PREORDER your Uber or Lyft service prior to coming to the venue. Unfortunately, Our venue does not allow overnight parking and violators will be towed. Please plan accordingly. Some suggestions would be to preorder an Uber to and from the wedding, have a designated driver, or ask a sober friend or family member to drive you and your car back to your place of stay.
Unfortunately, no. We have only purchased 9 types of drinks. We have 3 wines (Moscato, chardonnay, and a red), 3 beers, and 3 cocktails (vodka sprite, bourbon and coke, sex on the beach). Because we don't have a full bar, other variations are not possible. Sorry!
Yes! Feel free to take advantage of this time in Colorado! Colorado Springs is home to some amazing food, sites, and hiking trails. Please see the "Things To Do" tab on our website to check out some of our recommendations. Please note, the rehearsal dinner is invite only.
For cheaper flights we recommend flying into Denver, but it will be a 1.5 hour drive into The Springs, or you can fly into Colorado Springs. You may rent a car, take a shuttle, or Uber to your place of stay, unless arranged otherwise with us! We recommend you staying near Palmer Lake, as that is where our wedding will be. You can find many great hotels and airbnb's in Monument, Palmer Lake, and Northern Colorado Springs. I have listed a few options on the Travel Guidelines section of our website, so please check that out!
You can RSVP right here on our website, just head over to the RSVP tab, type in your first AND last name to RSVP. We ask that you have all travel arrangements confirmed by January 20,2021 and your RSVP to us by February 1, 2021. If your plans change, we ask you let us know ASAP, as we give our final count and payment to our venue on February 20,2021.
If you have other dietary concerns please feel free to email us at groppi.warrenwedding@gmail.com. Our dinner buffet consist of chicken, beef, mashed potatoes, vegetables, and salad. If you are a vegetarian, we suggest taking advantage of our Macaroni and Cheese Bar during cocktail hour.
The wedding is formal, we ask you to wear a suit and tie or nice dress. Dressy jumpsuits and gowns are also welcome. If you are coming from out of town, Colorado's weather can be unpredictable in March. Please pack accordingly by packing for all seasons.
Our wedding starts promptly at 3:30pm, we ask our guests to try and arrive before 3:15 to assure they don't miss out on the ceremony. The doors will close at 3:30pm and latecomers will not be allowed into the ceremony until the procession is finished. Please do not be late, that way you won't miss out on the ceremony!
We will be finalizing our song list with our DJ in advance. If you have song requests, please email or text us ahead of time and we will take it into consideration.
