Bridesmaid
I met Julia the first week of college and we were best friends from the very beginning. We lived together at College of Charleston, then years later in Charlotte before I moved to Boston and Julia to Hawaii. Long story short, we've both lived all over the place, but have stayed best friends since August 2000. Julia is hilarious and kind and I'm so so lucky that she still wants to be friends with me after all these years!
Bridesmaid
Shawnna and I met in 10th grade at Salem Academy. At times Shawnna has really been more like a sister to me than a friend. She is a ton of fun, super funny, and maybe a little sassy. I'm so thankful for her friendship over the last 23 years (ugh.. we're old..). I couldn't have done life without her patience, humor, and faith in me. Thanks, Shablabla!
Bridesmaid
I'm about 99.9% sure I wouldn't have stayed in Fort Lauderdale past week two if I hadn't met Katie. She and I shared a tiny office at work for a month and very quickly realized we're the exact same person! We've been inseparable for the last 3.5 years, and I can't imagine my life without her. She puts up with my ridiculousness everyday without judgment and still wants to be my wife, I mean, friend. :) Katie is kind, incredibly smart, has an amazing sense of humor (see.. we are the same person..), and laughs at all my lame jokes. I thank my lucky stars every day for Katie Byrnesday.
Maid of Honor
My sister, Mary Catherine (you can call her MC or Mary or Sissy) is my Maid of Honor! She has been there for me my entire life, and even in high school when we could barely be in the same room together most of the time, she would still drive to Salem to pick me up for the weekend or take me driving around looking at houses in Gastonia dreaming about our futures. We have enjoyed countless beach vacations, long talks about nothing and everything, and singing at the top of our lungs to Wilson Philips and No Doubt on many a road trip. I love you, Sissy!
