Depending on the temperature this weekend, there are several hikes you can do around the valley. Camelback is a very common hike, however, it is difficult. If you attempt to do this, please keep an eye out for the temp, wear appropriate shoes to hike in, and bring water!
Cave Creek
Several places to grab a bite to eat, Friday night live bull riding at Buffalo Chip, and a few hiking spots around the area!
Culinary Dropout
Great American food spot. There are several locations across the valley and they are all great, so locate the one closest to you! Another great family spot, but has a slightly louder crowd.
Diego Pops
Great Tex-Mex restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating options. Right in the heart of Old Town!
Fashion Square
Scottsdale's indoor shopping mall. Many options for stores and food.
Golfing
So many different golf courses that are probably dropping their pricing this time of year, be sure to check different places out, in and around the valley.
J T's Bar & Grill
Jack and Amanda's favorite neighborhood bar. By far the best wings you can find here in Phoenix. Please keep in mind this is a dive bar and has very limited space!
Kierland Commons/Scottsdale Quarter
Fun outdoor mall with mini golf, fun outdoor fountains for kids, and great food options!
Los Dos Molinos
A Jay Scott favorite! Authentic Mexican food with great Margaritas!

Olive & Ivy
A beautiful mediterranean restaurant right on the canal in Old Town Scottsdale.
Postino Highland
Postino is a great wine cafe for a brunch or dinner setting. They have some of the best customizable bruschetta in town!
Sedona
Sedona is one of our favorite places in Arizona. It is about 1.5 hours away from Phoenix, but if you have the time to make it up there during the week or weekend, there are so many hikes, restaurants, and shops! Feel free to reach out to us if you would like more suggestions here.

Amanda used to work at Zinburger in College. It is a favorite of ours and a great spot for the family to enjoy burgers, fries, and shakes!
