Arriving in Marsh Harbour

PASSPORT REQUIRED All guests must have a valid passport to travel to the Bahamas. Make sure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your travel date. FLY INTO: Marsh Harbour (MHH) Book flights into Leonard M. Thompson International Airport (MHH) in Marsh Harbour, Abaco. Airlines that fly into MHH: American Airlines – via Miami or Charlotte Delta Airlines – via Atlanta BahamasAir – via Nassau or Palm Beach Note: Silver Airways is known for frequent delays and cancellations. Use caution when booking. FERRY DOCK TRANSFER After landing at MHH, take a taxi to the G&L dock (approximately 10 minutes). Let your driver know you are heading to Hope Town. Taxis are readily available outside the airport. GROCERY STOPS BEFORE THE FERRY Your driver can take you to Marsh Harbour’s best grocery and liquor stores before the ferry: Maxwell’s Supermarket (largest selection) Abaco Grocery Local liquor stores These stops are optional but highly recommended. Selection and pricing are better than what is available on Hope Town.

Getting to Hope Town

FERRY TO HOPE TOWN Take the G&L Ferry to Hope Town on Elbow Cay. Approx. $25 round trip, $15 one way No need to book in advance Simply tell the crew you’re going to Hope Town Inn & Marina • Visit: gandlferry.com • Email: gltransportation2021@gmail.com • Phone: +1 (242) 816-2628 Important Note: The last public ferry typically departs between 5:00–6:00 PM. If your flight lands after 4:30 PM, you may need a private boat transfer, which the hotel can help arrange. HOTEL SHUTTLE SERVICE Once you arrive in Hope Town, the Hope Town Inn & Marina provides a free boat shuttle from the ferry dock directly to the hotel for all guests. COORDINATED ARRIVAL SUPPORT Once you’ve booked your flight and your hotel stay, reach out to Hope Town Inn & Marina directly.
