Elbow Reef Lighthouse
One of the last manually operated lighthouses in the world, the Elbow Reef Lighthouse is a historic treasure. Climb to the top for panoramic views of the harbor and surrounding cays. It’s a short walk from the Hope Town Inn & Marina.
Tahiti Beach
A secluded stretch of soft white sand at the southern tip of Elbow Cay, Tahiti Beach is only accessible by bike, golf cart, or boat. It’s the perfect spot to spend a lazy afternoon. Visit at low tide to walk the sandbar or float offshore with a drink. Bring your own snacks and beverages. A floating bar, The Thirsty Cuda, often anchors nearby during peak times.
Hope Town Historic District
Pastel cottages, white fences, and blooming bougainvillea line the charming streets of Hope Town’s historic village. It’s a beautiful area to stroll, explore, and photograph. You’ll find cafés, the post office, boutique shops, and churches nestled along the water.

Hope Town Inn & Marina
Hope Town Inn & Marina is where our reception will take place and where many of our guests will be staying. The open-air restaurant and newly renovated Rum Bar offer beautiful waterfront views, fresh Bahamian cuisine, and handcrafted cocktails in a relaxed but elegant setting.
Cap’n Jack’s Restaurant & Bar
Located in the center of Hope Town, this casual waterfront bar is known for its conch fritters and local favorites. It’s great for a laid-back dinner, drinks, or watching boats pull into the harbor. They will also cook your catch here!
On Da Beach - Bar & Restaurant
A fun, casual beach bar located just steps from the sand. Known for its breezy vibe and signature frozen drink, The Turtle Racer. Expect classic bar food, burgers, and great music.
Sea Spray Resort & Marina
A relaxed, island-style marina and restaurant nestled on White Sound. Stop by for ocean breezes, casual cocktails, and fresh Bahamian bites overlooking the water. Great for a laid-back lunch or an afternoon drink between adventures.

Mackey's Takeout
A beloved local spot serving authentic Bahamian comfort food. Mackey’s is known for their cracked conch, grouper fingers, BBQ ribs, oxtail, wings, and rotating daily specials — all packed with island flavor. Portions are generous and prices are fair. It’s a casual, no-frills spot that’s popular with locals, so it’s best to call ahead to place your order and avoid the wait.

Sunrise Sports Bar
Not a beach bar—this inland spot feels more like a classic American sports bar, with cold beer, wings, and A/C. A local favorite for catching the game or escaping the heat for a bit. They’re also know to stay open late!

Charter a Boat for the Day Explore the surrounding cays by private boat — either self-guided or with a local captain. Swim in hidden coves, snorkel reefs, or stop at famous beach bars like Nipper’s on Great Guana Cay or Grabbers on Guana. Hotel staff can help you arrange rentals or captained charters. Snorkeling & Swimming Several spots off Elbow Cay have excellent snorkeling — many accessible right from the shore. Popular areas include the reef near Firefly and the beach below Abaco Inn. For deeper reef explorations, boat excursions are available. Paddleboarding & Kayaking Hope Town Inn & Marina, Firefly, and other local operators offer complimentary or rentable paddleboards and kayaks. The calm waters of the harbor make it a peaceful way to spend the morning. Deep Sea Fishing Book a local charter and spend the day reeling in mahi-mahi, tuna, or wahoo in the deep Atlantic waters. Most boats include gear and a guide. Ask your hotel for help booking in advance.
