Heinz Chapel will open for guests and street parking will be available at 2:15 pm. A Pittsburgh police officer will be there to assist. We recommend arriving 20 minutes before the ceremony begins to find parking and get situated. The chapel entry doors are the large, red doors facing the Cathedral of Learning.
Yes, the dress code for the wedding is semi-formal/cocktail. The ceremony location will be temperature-controlled, and the barn for the reception has AC units.
If we have given you a plus one on your invitation, you are more than welcome to bring a date, a close friend, or a family member as your plus one. If you have not received a plus one but would like one, please ask us directly.
Please RSVP by Monday, June 30th. This gives us time to arrange seating and give an accurate guest count to vendors.
Oh absolutely! We love children and want them to be there for both the ceremony and the celebration afterwards. If your children were not included in the invitation and you would like to bring them, please contact us so we can make sure they are included on the guest list. The reception venue also has a room that we intend to keep available for mothers with young children.
