Things To Do

Some of our favorite memories together have happened in the mountains, forests, and little corners of the Snoqualmie Valley. Here are a few places we love returning to again and again.
Snoqualmie Falls

Snoqualmie Falls

6501 Railroad Ave, Snoqualmie, WA 98024

Snoqualmie Falls is one of Washington state’s most popular scenic attractions standing at 270-feet tall. Snoqualmie is the English pronunciation of “sah-KOH-koh” or “Sdob-dwahibbluh,” a Salish word meaning moon. As a spiritual place, it gave birth to many legends. One tells of “S’Beow” (the beaver), who climbed into the sky to bring trees and fire down to earth.

Northwest Railway Museum, Snoqualmie Depot

Northwest Railway Museum, Snoqualmie Depot

38625 Southeast King Street, Snoqualmie, WA 98065

The Northwest Railway Museum was founded in 1957. It is currently the largest and most comprehensive railroad museum in Washington state. We love trains and think this is such a rad spot to check out.

Twede's Cafe

Twede's Cafe

137 West North Bend Way, North Bend, WA 98045

This one is for our fellow "Twin Peaks" lovers - home of cherry pie and damn fine cups of coffee! The iconic TV-diner Twede's Cafe is located in North Bend, WA and offers vegan and classic diner food.

Rattlesnake Lake Recreation Area & Trails

Rattlesnake Lake Recreation Area & Trails

17905 Cedar Falls Road Southeast, North Bend, WA 98045

The first—and only—place we’ve ever seen the aurora borealis (still not over it). In the summer, we come back for kayaking, picnics, and swimming on those perfect PNW hot days.

Twin Falls Trailhead

Twin Falls Trailhead

Southeast 159th Street, North Bend, WA 98045

Our most visited hike since living in Seattle. Twin Falls feels like stepping into a mossy, misty postcard—waterfalls, towering evergreens, and pure Pacific Northwest magic.
