Semi-formal. Think suits for guys, but not tuxes, and dresses for the ladies, but not gowns. Bring comfy shoes for dancing, and keep an eye on the weather- it changes fast in Cleveland!
The cocktail hour will be outside, weather permitting. The ceremony and reception will be indoors.
We love our friends and their kids, but due to capacity limitations at the venue, this event will be adults-only.
Yes! Festivities will continue after the reception downtown at Brel's, which is the restaurant bar for the Crowne Plaza (the wedding hotel where the shuttle departs and returns to). Brel's is open to the general public until 11 PM, and we've reserved it for our party from 11-1 AM.
We will have a shuttle bus running in a loop between the wedding hotel (Crowne Plaza) and the reception venue. Feel free to take a cab or a ride share, but the shuttle is there if you don't want separate transportation.
There are a few options- Cleveland Hopkins (CLE) has a taxi stand, a rental car facility, rideshare pickup area, and a train that runs downtown straight from the airport. Depending on the hotel you choose, it may (or may not) be convenient to get from the train to your hotel with luggage. Just a note- the transit system in Cleveland is not like the one in NYC or Boston. It does not run all night, and it is not particularly well funded. Make sure you have a plan (or a backup plan) to get from the airport to the hotel, especially if you're landing late at night.
Certainly! Both hotels offer Valet parking with in/out privileges for roughly $49/day. There are also a plethora of public and private parking garages and lots that offer daily rates that are far cheaper than that.
