SEE YOU IN SAN CLEMENTE

Griffin and Maddie's story began at Cal State San Marcos in 2018. They met at a party the first weekend of their Junior year of college, and immediately hit it off. Their first date was at a now closed coffee shop called Perks coffee, and they have been together ever since. Their dating anniversary is October 14th, 2018. Both Griffin and Madison graduated college in 2020. While Griffin pursued a masters degree in History at Cal State San Marcos, Madison pursued a career in nursing. This meant Madison would be moving to Denver for 2 years. Throughout those 2 years, their love for each other never wavered and both logged countless flights between Denver and San Diego. Upon graduation of nursing school in 2022, Madison returned back to San Diego and began her nursing career. In 2023, Madison and Griffin moved to Carlsbad and adopted their dog Poppy. In the spring of 2025, Griffin (finally) proposed to Madison at the beach right in front of their home in Carlsbad. Her first words to Griffin in response were "Are you serious" and began celebrating. When she realized Griffin was waiting for an answer she emphatically answered yes. They celebrated their engagement on April 5th, 2025 over drinks and appetizers with their parents, and later a surprise engagement party surrounded by friends and family. After over 7 years of being together, Griffin and Maddie cannot wait to call each other husband and wife, and celebrate their new anniversary of June 12th!
