We're getting married!

We met on the dating app Hinge in October, 2020! As you can imagine, it was interesting dating during the pandemic. Our first date was at a cocktail bar/sour beer brewery in Columbus called Antiques On High. We wore masks until the cocktails were ordered and we had found a seat. We snagged prime seating on the covered rooftop and nervously sipped our fancy cocktails. We started talking and couldn't stop - we stayed so long the bar had closed and we didn't even realize! Now we like to visit Antiques on High and relive our first date!

Max made a reservation at Lindey's restaurant in our neighborhood to celebrate the end of his busy season at work - budget season! Little did Gretchen know, the reservation was not to celebrate the end of budget season, but was a pre-engagement dinner. We had a lovely dinner and Max asked if Gretchen wanted to go on a walk with our dog Clover in Schiller Park. We scooped up Clover and walked in the park to the umbrella girl fountain. This is where we had one of their first dates! When we arrived at the fountain, Max got on one knee and popped the question! We called our families afterward and had champagne at our local watering hole, Mid City Garage. It was the perfect evening and engagement. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you! See you in Columbus!
