How did you know we were dreaming of those crystal champagne flutes?! They’re by far the most beautiful glasses in our home and we’ve never felt fancier. You’ll have to come over soon so we can toast to you! So excited to see you in June.

When we met in the kitchen at work, Gretchen loved Josh’s kind energy. During Tableau Conference at the Cat's Meow karaoke bar in NOLA, Josh sang the very romantic Macklemore song, "Thrift Shop." He grew the courage to put his arm around Gretchen which set off a year long secret office romance.

In Seattle, we bonded over fine dining. In Feb. 2020, Josh joined Gretchen's family Cabo trip and surprised her with a sunset cruise (see pic!), then COVID hit. It forced us to slow down, bonding over nightly cooking together.

2021 brought big steps: buying a Kirkland house & 2 weeks later, adopting Henry, our goofy Samoyed. Our new WFH jobs allow for Henry walks, wine tasting & travel.

The Proposal:
The ring secretly traveled for months (Cabo, California, Japan, Cabo again!) before Josh planned the perfect callback: a private Cabo sunset cruise like our first, complete w/ photographer, champagne, and roses.
